Bride Problem
To start the "Bride Problem" click button "Start". That opens the input window. A user enters the following information:
- number of potential grooms (for example: 100)
- a prior standard deviation of their goodness (for example: 0.25)
- a conditional standard deviation of bride impressions (for example: 0.05)
- click button 'Recalculate' to update the optimal decision function
and to generate a sample of 100 grooms, for example.
The first output window shows the data on the best groom of this sample and the
groom chosen by the optimal decision function.
- by clicking checkbox buttons one controls colors and other output parameters ( combobox)
- to see the graph of the optimal decision function click button 'Update graph'
If, after exit, some windows remain open, close them using system menu 'Close'.
